ENV co-founded the Nishan Institute for Economic and Social Development — a high-end think tank for economic philosophy and comparative economics of civilizations.

Nishan Institute for Economic and Social Development (NIESD) is a social think tank centered on "economic philosophy" and "comparative economics of civilizations". Rooted in fine traditional Chinese culture and drawing on modern economic theory, the Institute is committed to deepening the dialogue between Marxist political economy and Chinese cultural traditions, building bridges of civilizational dialogue at the intersection of past and present, East and West.
With a strategic positioning of "Academia · Communication · Practice", the Institute brings together renowned scholars from China and abroad, aiming to become an intellectual stronghold with a global vision, Chinese character and contemporary concern — providing intellectual support for government decision-making and corporate innovation, and contributing to an independent Chinese economic knowledge system. Supervised by the Publicity Department of the CPC Qufu Municipal Committee, its council members include the School of Economics of Qufu Normal University, the School of Marxism of Jining University, and ENV (Beijing) Investment Group, with academic support and cooperation from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Central University of Finance and Economics, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Guangming Daily, the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and the Confucius Museum.
Located in Qufu, Shandong — the hometown of Confucius — the Institute was officially founded in 2026, bringing together renowned scholars from China and abroad to form a distinctive academic research system that supports government decision-making and corporate innovation.
